Have you checked the search volume for your best keyword
Are your keywords informational, navigational or transactional?
Where is the keyword in the sales funnel?
What keywords are your competitors optimising for?

Brand Entity Established – Does Google know, like and trust you
Is your brand known on the web? If not Google won’t know to trust your site.
If you search Google using this search what is returned?
“Your Brand” Good news if your website is first, even better if you have the knowledge on the right-hand side of the search results. Even better if your web properties fill the first few pages.
Eg, your Facebook, Twitter, Yell, Thomson Local, Tumblr, Pinterest, Blogger and other directory sites.

Site Speed – Is your site fast enough

Your website’s load time is important.
You want as fast a site as possible, this means using the best hosting you can afford.
Load time, Time to First Byte and Start Render Time are all speed indicators.
Aim for a load time under 3 secs. A time to first byte of under 0.5, Start Render of under 2 sec and a First Paint under 2sc
